Arevon Energy has opened the Vikings solar plus storage project in California, the US' first utility-scale solar peaker plant. The $529 million project includes 157MWdc solar array and 150MW/600MWh of battery storage, providing power to over 1 million customers. It also created jobs and scholarships, marking a milestone for Arevon's renewable energy portfolio.
